01Open the Gantt#

Click Gantt in the view bar. Task names sit on the left and their bars on the right. Weeks start on Sunday; to change that, open View settings and pick a Week start (Monday, Saturday or Sunday).

02Change dates#

03Link tasks#

Press D to start linking, then connect one bar to another. Press Esc when you are done.

04Zoom and Today#

The zoom buttons step from single days up close out to whole years, a little at a time, and the bar between them shows how far in you are. Auto fit fits all your dated tasks on screen. Today scrolls back to the current date, which is marked on the timeline.

05Group the timeline#

The controls at the top left group the timeline, for example by project or by person, the same way as swim lanes.
