Move to another board

Move a whole project to another board when the work changes hands. Its tasks, statuses and tags go with it.

01Move a project#

  1. Click the ⋮ next to the project's name.
  2. Pick Move To Board.
  3. Choose the board it should go to.
  4. Click Move Project.

02What moves with it#

MovesEvery task, with its comments, files, checklist and history. The project's statuses and tags.
Stays behindAutomations. They belong to the board they were made on, so set up any you need on the new board.

03You need a second board#

If your workspace has only one board, the dialog says there is no other board to move to. Create one from the workspace menu with Create Board, then move the project.

Tip Moving is the way to hand a finished client project to a separate Delivered board, or to split a busy board in two.
