Create a new board
A board holds a set of projects you work on together. Start it empty, from a template, or as a copy of a board you already have.
01Start a board#
Click Create Board at the bottom of the Boards card on the Dashboard, or click your board's name at the top left and pick Create Board.
02Logo and title#
- Click the square tile to pick a logo (PNG, JPG or WebP). It's optional.
- Type the Board title, like Client Work.
- Check the Board URL. Taskift suggests one from the title, and a green Available means it's free. You can change it.
03Board template#
Pick Empty Board to set it up your way, or one of the templates, like Web Design Agency or MSP / IT Helpdesk. A template opens to show its statuses, projects and tags. Set Starts On to give the starter tasks real dates, and choose whether to include its tasks and notes.
04Clone an existing board#
Under Clone Existing Board, pick one of your boards, or paste a board template ID someone shared with you. You get its statuses, tags, task style, automations and projects. When you clone one of your boards you can also tick Include Tasks, Include Notes and Include Forms.
05Create it#
Click Create Board. The new board opens. Statuses, projects and settings can all be changed later in Board Settings.
