Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated October 29, 2026
Taskift is for running real work with your team and clients. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone in a workspace, including members, client guests, AI agents and connected apps. Questions: hello@taskift.com.
Not allowed
- Anything illegal, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Spam or bulk unsolicited messages, including through forms, invites, client emails or email-to-task.
- Malware, phishing pages, or files meant to harm someone's device.
- Harassment, threats, hate, or sharing someone's private information without permission.
- Content that sexualizes minors or promotes violence.
- Trying to get into other workspaces or accounts, testing our security without written permission, or getting around plan, seat or credit limits.
- Monitoring sites with Site Health that you don't own or manage.
- Using AI features, agents or connected apps to break these rules, or in ways our AI provider's usage policy forbids.
- Putting a heavy load on the service, such as scraping or automated requests far beyond normal use.
- Reselling Taskift or running a competing service on it, unless we agree in writing. Running your clients' work in Taskift and inviting them as guests is of course fine.
- Gaming referrals or the affiliate program, for example with fake accounts or self-referrals.
Sensitive data
Taskift is not built for health records, payment card numbers or government ID numbers. Please don't store them in Taskift.
What we do
If something breaks this policy, we may remove the content or suspend the workspace. A suspended workspace stays readable and exportable. We will tell the owner and give a chance to fix the problem where we reasonably can; serious harm, security threats or legal orders may need immediate action.
Email hello@taskift.com with a link or a description. If you find a security issue, please tell us privately first and give us reasonable time to fix it before sharing details.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the last change.
