Import tasks

01Import tasks#

1. Click the ⋮ next to the project's name and pick Import Tasks.
2. File: choose a file or drop it in. CSV, JSON or XML, up to 5 MB. Taskift recognizes the format on its own.
3. Map fields: pick what each column becomes: Title, Description, Status, Priority, Assignee, Tags, Start date, Due date or one of your properties. Then match status, tag and assignee values.
4. Import: check the summary and click Import Tasks.

02A title is required#

Pick the column that holds each task's title. Rows without a title are skipped and counted, so nothing is lost silently.
