Most notification sounds teach you to ignore them. Taskift's sound alerts do the opposite: they stay quiet unless something needs you.
What makes a sound
- An @mention of you in a comment
- A task assigned to you
- A new comment or email on a task you own or created
- Your task reminders, right on time
Each kind has its own short tone, so you can tell a reminder from a mention without looking.
Your choice, per device
Sound alerts are off until you turn them on in Board Settings > More > Appearance. The switch is saved for you on that device only. Turn them on at your desk and leave your laptop quiet in meetings. Nobody else's settings change.
Quiet by design
Taskift checks for new activity about every 30 seconds while the app is open and in front of you. A tab sitting in the background doesn't beep, and your own comments never ping you.
TipWant alerts when Taskift isn't open? Turn on push notifications from your account menu. They work on your phone too.
