Clients want to know where their work stands. You don't want them wandering through every other client's projects to find out. Taskift gives you three levels of sharing, from a full client login down to a single task, and all three live in one place: Board Settings > More > Visibility.
1. Client guests: a login that only opens their projects
Invite someone on the Team page with the role Client and pick the projects they can see. They get their own portal with only those projects. Your other clients, internal projects and other boards stay out of sight.
In the portal a client can follow progress, comment, approve work or ask for changes, and send you new requests. Clients never use a seat, so add everyone on their side who needs to see the work.
2. Project share links: read-only, no account needed
Sometimes the person who needs to see progress will never log in, like a client's boss or a partner agency. Turn on a share link for one project and send the address. Anyone with the link sees that project's open tasks with their titles, statuses, tags and dates.
Comments, files, people, time tracking, notes and descriptions stay private. You also see how many times the link has been opened and when it was last viewed. Owners and admins turn links on and off, and switching one off stops it working at once.

3. Public task links: one task, on its own
For a single deliverable, make just that task public from its Share button. The workspace owner first turns public task links on and picks what they may show: the description, the checklist, the dates or comments. Members then share individual tasks, and you can turn any link off later.
4. Choose what outsiders can open
Under Views for outsiders, pick whether a project share link opens in Board view, List view or both. Clients who like a simple checklist get List. Clients who like to see work move get Board.
