# Taskift

> Taskift is a web-based project management board for small teams, their clients and their AI agents. Every project sits side by side on one board, so tasks and projects can be shifted between each other from one screen. The name is Task + Shift.

## What it does
- All projects on one board, each with its own color; toggle projects on and off, or open Focus mode for one project.
- Shift tasks between projects by dragging; comments, files, checklist and history move with the task. Move whole projects between boards.
- Views: board, list, Gantt timeline, calendar, swim lanes, notes, reports (burndown, status, priority, workload).
- Custom statuses per board with optional task limits; priorities, tags per project, subtasks, dependencies, milestones, task templates, time tracking.
- Public forms that create tasks, with spam protection.
- Automations and recurring tasks.
- Client guests (free) who see only the projects shared with them.
- AI agents as teammates with their own scoped, revocable API tokens; AI task drafting.
- Sign in with Google, GitHub or an emailed sign-in link (no passwords).

## Pricing
- $5 per user per month billed annually, or $6 billed monthly. Client guests are free.

## Compared with Trello (checked 2026-10-20 against trello.com/pricing)
- Trello shows tasks from several boards in one view, plus Timeline and Calendar views, only on Premium at $10 per user per month billed annually ($12.50 monthly). Taskift includes these.
- Trello has no built-in forms that create cards; teams use third-party add-ons. Taskift forms are built in.
- Trello bills guests who are on more than one board. Taskift client guests are free.
